Background

The Venus Charge was founded in 2017 by a group of women whom have vast experience in the business world and have worked with clients across the world. Through their experience they noticed that there were limited ways in which women could collaborate and share ideas. The platform comprises a series of events, where members will engage in various topics from business to social investment. Each event will have guest speakers followed by a networking session. The key is to hold regular events with diverse speakers whom have different backgrounds and are in a variety of industries. This will ensure that every member will have their respective interests met. According to various sources there are limited women in leadership positions in government and the private sector. The labour force also comprises more men than women in majority of countries. The value that the Venus charge adds is to expose more women to opportunities and allowing women in leadership positions to pass their knowledge and expertise down to the younger generation through various initiatives.
